Die Aweti [Λaue 'ti], auch AwetΓ, Arauite, Tuoi, Awytyza, AuetΓΆ, Aueto, Aueti, Auiti, Arauite, Arauine, EnumaniΓ‘, sind ein sΓΌdamerikanisches Indianervolk im brasilianischen Bundesstaat Mato Grosso, am Rio Xingu.
2011 wurden 195 Stammesmitglieder dieses Volkes gezΓ€hlt (2002: 138 Mitglieder, 2006: 140 Mitglieder),cite-ref-1[1] die eine eigene Sprache der Tupi-Guarani-Sprachfamilie (Aweti) sprechen.cite-ref-2[2]cite-ref-3[3]cite-ref-4[4] Sie leben mit 15 weiteren StΓ€mmen, die unter der Bezeichnung Xingu-Indianer zusammengefasst werden, in dem Indianerterritorium Parque IndΓgena do Xingu.cite-ref-5[5]
